Like generation

With the Facebook "like" button and pages, it has become so easy to share what you like, at least virtually. It is a great way of giving quick feedback, although it is always a positive one since the "dislike" option currently doesn't exist.

When the Facebook "like" widget meets real life:

I find it comforting to think about the aspects I like in my life and most importantly to remember why they make me happy. I guess, though, that unlike on Facebook, in real life you should also make sure you know what you dislike and do something about it.

So here are two things that I really liked these past few days:

Our new family tradition, drinking different kinds of home-made iced teas on Saturday and spending the whole afternoon on the rooftop:

Cold "China Rose" tea:

Being surrounded by challenging and inspiring art:

Claire Fontaine's show at Dvir Gallery (where I work), Hangar 2, Jaffa Port:

I hope you liked this post, I like you reader.

Hi Sarah.
thank you for appreciating my Facebook sticker.

i loved the "Like generation" title for the post.
when thinking about it, it does say something about us, how we love to give feedback in such a superficial / dichotomous way. no gray areas, we cannot love some detail while feeling differently about the other. it all comes to "i like it" or i just don't...

also the "dislike" sticker just might be a great idea.. ^__^
